Caution: this oil is so spicy but so delicious you will want to use it on everything! Ghost peppers, one of the hottest peppers in the world – basically the devil fruit that can ruin your evening with its insane levels of hotness. But what if we were able to tame this offensive chili (yes I do mean offensive)? I know it seems like an impossible task, but the trick to making this taste bud-destroyer palpable is to let it bake in the oven for hours until it has no choice but to give you its secret delciousness. What do we need for this task? First of all, GLOVES. These little bastards want to harm you at every opportunity. This includes the hours after you cut them up and accidentally touch your eye or other mucus membrane. Fatal mistake, the ghost pepper enacts its revenge without mercy, relentlessly assaulting your most sensitive areas. To counter this effect, make sure we have the following items on hand and ready to go:
Easy right, this recipe is for everybody – even those completely inept at cooking! Also, feel free to substitute the canola oil for 100% olive oil or any other type of oil you like. Simply slice up those ghost peppers. Add garlic cloves and oil: Now bake the solution at 250 °F for 3 hours. Bottle. Enjoy! This oil seems to last a good amount of time – at least 3 months strong for me. I use this stuff on everything from pasta to stir fry; it makes everything taste so good: roasted garlic infused oil, with a slight nuttiness from the sesame oil, and with a huge kick at the end that’s exactly what you need. Trust me, I’m an “expert” as seen in the video below.
